Toddler
THE TODDLER plane (AGES 18 MONTHS-3 YEARS) IS A PERIOD OF TREMENDOUS DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH.
In these early years children grow rapidly, developing personality, motor skills, independence, and a sense of community. This important stage deserves more than daycare; it calls for an environment that truly nurtures the whole child.
At The Montessori School at StarCreek, we create a safe and enriching space that inspires curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. With freedom to explore and discover, children are supported as unique individuals with unlimited potential.
And because we meet each child exactly where they are, potty training is never required in the toddler classrooms.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
At The Montessori School at StarCreek, our Toddler Program is intentionally designed to nurture the remarkable growth that occurs during this stage of a child's first plane of development. Rather than simply providing care, our authentic Montessori environment encourages toddlers to build language, coordination, concentration, independence, and social confidence through purposeful, hands-on experiences guided by experienced Montessori educators.

Independence is one of the greatest gifts we can give a young child. At The Montessori School at StarCreek, our thoughtfully prepared classrooms encourage toddlers to make choices, care for themselves and their environment, solve problems, and develop confidence through meaningful work. Every experience is designed to help children become capable, self-motivated learners while fostering a lifelong love of learning.

At The Montessori School at StarCreek, our Toddler Program builds the independence, confidence, and foundational skills children need to thrive in Primary. Through authentic Montessori experiences, children develop concentration, communication, self-care, social awareness, and a love of learning while our experienced guides carefully observe each child's growth.
Although our Primary Program typically serves children ages three to six, we don't believe children should be limited by a birthday. When a child demonstrates readiness for the next plane of development, we can thoughtfully begin that transition-even before age three. Because our classrooms are designed as multi-age learning communities, children can move into Primary throughout the school year when they are truly ready.
